  • Andre Moore (1984-87) was one of the most prolific scorers and rebounders ever to wear the Maroon and Gold and became the third member of the 1984-85 squad to be inducted into the Loyola Athletics Hall of Fame, joining Alfredrick Hughes and Andre Battle.
  • En route to 1987 Midwestern Collegiate Conference Player of the Year honors, Moore contributed 20.6 points and 12.4 rebounds per game.
  • During his three-year career with the Ramblers, the Chicago native and Carver High School graduate produced 16.5 ppg and 10.9 rpg, while shooting 51.9 percent (597-for-1,150) from the field, and he was an integral part of two MCC regular-season championship teams (1985 and 1987).
  • The 6-foot-9 center averaged 11.0 ppg and 10.3 rpg in 1984-85 to help Loyola to a 27-6 overall record and an appearance in the NCAA Sweet 16.
  • A three-time All-MCC pick, Moore was selected by the Denver Nuggets in the second round of the 1987 NBA Draft.
  • After tallying 2.4 ppg and 1.4 rpg in his brief NBA career, Moore flourished as a professional player in the National Basketball League in Australia, where he still resides today.
