ELMHURST, Ill. – The Loyola University Chicago track and field teams closed out the regular season Friday night with strong showings at the Elmhurst Twilight Invitational, hosted at Langhorst Field. Highlighting the evening was
Roisin Treacy's first-place finish in the 1,500m, where she clocked a personal-best 4:26.45—the sixth-fastest outdoor time in program history.
In the men's 800m, Samuel Field raced to a runner-up finish in 1:53.74. Jack Slaughter followed in fifth, crossing the line in 1:57.03.
Loyola saw five Ramblers finish in the top 10 of the men's 1,500m. Miles Clisham took the win in 3:50.91, edging out Izak Bibile, who placed second in 3:51.44. James Howell ran a personal-best 3:55.36 to finish fifth, while Jake Phillips (4:00.72) and Trent Anderson (4:00.76) placed seventh and eighth, respectively.
On the women's side, Treacy's historic mark led a deep Rambler crew in the 1,500m. Grace Kuhn claimed third in 4:41.52, followed by Priscilla Ravera (6th, 4:48.22) and Aiden Grasse (7th, 4:49.86). Jo Collins won her heat with a personal best of 4:53.69, while Madison Perez also set a new PR in 5:26.51.
In the 3,000m, Charlotte Wilson placed eighth in the women's race at 11:01.64. On the men's side, Aidan Collins set a new PR and took seventh in his heat at 8:51.66. Kyle Knutson finished in 14th in 9:08.40.
Loyola Chicago returns to competition May 3–4 at the 2025 Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Fairfax, Va.
