• Loyola beat Dayton last Friday, 76-72. The win marks Loyola's 14th at home this season and fourth straight. The Ramblers have won six of their last seven and 21 of their last 22 home games.

Des Watson recorded his fourth game with at least 20 points, dropped 22 in the win over the Flyers. It was a game-high. Watson went 8-14 from the field with two threes. He added five rebounds, three assists, and two steals.

Miles Rubin went 6-8 from the field, fueling a 14-point performance. He tallied three rebounds, three assists, and four blocks.

Jalen Quinn scored 11 points, while
Sheldon Edwards Jr. and
Jalen DeLoach scored 10 each.
• Edwards Jr. and Watson are on seven-game double-figure scoring streaks that began back on Feb. 1. Both have one 20-point performance in that stretch.

• In A-10 only play, the Ramblers lead the conference in three-point percentage (36.2). Edwards Jr. ranks ninth individually (41.0), while Watson sits 22nd (36.0) and Dawson 24th (35.4). Overall, Loyola is shooting 35.5 percent from deep, ranking 95th nationally, while Edwards Jr. ranks 65th in the NCAA with an overall 39.1 three-point percentage.

SCOUTING GEORGE WASHINGTON
The Revolutionaries are 18-10 overall and 7-8 in A-10 action as the second to last week of the regular season opens. George Washington holds a 4-5 road record this year after winning its last road contest at Davidson on Feb. 15. Despite being middle of the pack, the Revolutionaries lead the A-10 in steals per game (9.25) and have three players in the league's top-25.
Rafael Castro is nearly averaging a double-double for GW with 13.4 and 9.1 rebounds per game. He is on a 13-game double-figure scoring streak that includes seven games with at least 20 points. He dropped 27 points vs. Duquesne during that stretch. Castro also has seven double-doubles this year, including in the last two games.
Chris Caputo is in his third season leading GW and holds a 49-43 overall record.

Loyola leads the all-time series, 4-3. Edwards Jr. led the Ramblers with 18 points on the road last season in the 81-73 win.
