CHICAGO - Loyola Chicago returns to Gentile for its lone game of the week Wednesday night. Loyola and Fordham will tip-off at 7 pm. The Ramblers look to bounce back after an overtime thriller at Dayton last weekend, while the Rams have yet to win a game in Atlantic 10 play.

RAMBLINGS
• Loyola split last week's play with a win over Rhode Island and overtime loss at Dayton. The Rambler downed URI, 81-77, behind
Des Watson's 21 points. It marked his third 20-point outing of the season.

Jalen Quinn tied his career-high 17 points against the Rams, while
Francis Nwaokorie scored a season-best 14 points.
• Loyola tallied a season-low five turnovers vs. URI, which ties the fewest turnovers committed during Valentine's tenure.
• At Dayton, Watson and
Sheldon Edwards Jr. stepped up in the second half. Loyola faced a 13-point deficit in the opening minutes. Watson and Edwards Jr. scored 14 each in the second half, helping force OT. The Flyers came out on top with a last second shot 83-81.
• Edwards Jr. and
Jayden Dawson scored 19 points each, while Watson added 18 and Quinn 10.

Miles Rubin made an impact defensively, finishing with four blocks against the Flyers.
• After his 5-of-8 three-point finish at Dayton, Edwards Jr. slid up to second in the league in three-point shooting percentage (39.4). He's averaging 2.89 threes per game, sitting fourth in the A-10 and 52ndin the country.
• Loyola continues to share the ball well, posting 19 and 17 assists against the Rams and Flyers, respectively.
• The Ramblers are averaging 16.2 assists per game, ranking 54th in the nation and first in the conference. Watson ranks 13th in the A-10 with a team-leading 3.1 apg.

SCOUTING FORDHAM
The Rams enter the week at 8-10 overall but are still searching for their first league win at 0-5. They're coming off a triple-overtime battle against UMass where the Rams fell by two, 120-118. Fordham's other league losses came against Davidson, VCU, St. Bonaventure, and Saint Louis. The Rams allow the most points scored (78.3) and face one of the worst scoring margins at -2.1.
Jackie Johnson III leads the Fordham offense, averaging 18.9 points per game on 42. 5 percent from the field. He's banked 49 threes this season and shooting over 71 percent at the line. Johnson's scoring average ranks third in the A-10 and he's one of four players scoring over 18 ppg this year. He had a season-high 36 points against UMass, going 12-of-33 from the field, 4-of-18 from three, and 8-of-9 at the line.
Keith Urgo is in his third season leading the Rams and holds a 46-38 overall record.
SERIES HISTORY
The all-time series is tied, 2-2. Loyola won last season's meeting 65-61 after erasing a first-half deficit. Watson led all-scorers with 19 points, while Dawson added 13.
