CHICAGO - Loyola Chicago hosts Canisius for its final home non-conference game of the season. Tip-off between the Ramblers and Golden Griffins is 7 p.m. CT in Gentile Arena. Loyola looks to bounce back after falling to San Francisco last weekend, while Canisius has yet to win a game this year.

• Loyola sits at 8-1 entering the week, which is the best start to a season since 1962-63. The Ramblers started at 6-0 in both 1963-64 and 1979-80 and at 7-0 in 2010-11 and 2017-18. Loyola's 8-0 start was the best since a 21-0 open to the national championship year.

Paul McMillan IV leads the offense, scoring 19.5 points per game. He's scored double-figures every game this season, which includes six 20-point performances. McMillan dropped 22 in the last two games vs. Siena and Maine. He had a season-best 25 points vs. Brown.
This is Jim Christian's first season leading Canisius. His head coaching career spans 20 seasons, and he holds a 320-297 overall record.
