POSTGAMEÂ QUOTES
Wright State (53) at Loyola (52)

Gentile Center
Head Coach Jim Whitesell
On the end of the game:
"We had the game and it comes right down to the last play. We made some awfully good plays at the end there to take the lead and had a tough call there at the end to get them to the free throw line. But we had the ball and we had a chance but they forced us out a bit and we got scattered in what we wanted to do there and we didn't get a good shot."
On Loyola's effort:
"I'm real proud of how we played tonight. We played with a lot of effort, a lot of heart and played through some times where the ball just wouldn't stay down for them and we had a lot of good shots. In conference play there's a lot of close game and, certainly, our last three games have been very close. I'm disappointed but proud of our guys."
On the final play:
We wanted to bring Cerasoli off a ball screen and have him read it but they jumped out on him pretty good and our spacing wasn't as good as we would have liked. If it wasn't there then we were going to come back to J.R. (Blount) and get a flow going. Just didn't execute very well there but I think our guys really played with a lot of heart."
On Justin Cerasoli's play:
"IÂ thought he played very well tonight and, at the end, I thought he played very good defense. Got down and made a big steal and I thought he played very well, gave us some good balance and picked us up."
On the close games in Horizon League play:
"Certainly has been a lot for us. I think there have been a lot of very close games. Our game last week (at UIC) goes double overtime, our Detroit game was really down to the last 30 seconds, last possession, and Cleveland State and Youngstown State came down to the last two minutes. We're going to keep fighting and keep working.
Junior Guard Justin Cerasoli
On the final play:
"Coach picked out a great play for us to run, we ran the play and just fell a little bit short. Tracy had a shot that he could of taken but he didn't take it, I?had a shot but we just came up short. J.R. still really had a shot to put it in the hole, IÂ thought he was going to make that."
Sophomore Forward Andy Polka
On the game: "We played hard. IÂ know I'm looking forward to next week, IÂ think our whole team is. We'll be fired up to play.
