Patrick Wallace will enter his second season as Loyola’s video coordinator in 2020-21. Prior to his arrival in Rogers Park, Wallace spent the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons as a graduate manager on Chris Collins’ staff at Northwestern University. As a graduate manager at Northwestern, he was responsible for game and scouting preparation, oversaw undergraduate managers and assisted in player development.
“Patrick did a great job for Coach Collins’ staff at Northwestern,” Loyola head coach Porter Moser said. “He is a high-energy individual and what sticks out is his passion for the game of basketball.”
During the 2019-20 campaign, Wallace helped the Ramblers to a 21-win season and a second-place finish in the rugged Missouri Valley Conference as Loyola recorded its third straight campaign with 20 or more victories. Junior center Cameron Krutwig was named First Team All-MVC, and freshman Marquise Kennedy was tabbed MVC Sixth Man of the Year, among a handful of honors handed out to Ramblers at season’s end.
Wallace played collegiately at North Carolina State and Charleston Southern and was a member of two NCAA Tournament teams. He finished his career at Charleston Southern ranked 15thin program history with 117 three-point field goals, despite playing just two seasons there. Wallace was a two-time Big South All-Academic and National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court member in both of his seasons at Charleston Southern.
A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, Wallace played his prep basketball at Brewster Academy in New Hampshire. He earned his undergraduate degree from Charleston Southern and his master’s degree in sports administration from Northwestern.
