Former Loyola Chicago men's basketball standout Keith Clemons returned to Rogers Park in May 2023 to join the Ramblers' staff as the program's Director of Player Development.
During his time on staff with the Ramblers, Loyola claimed an A-10 Regular Season Title and made back-to-back NIT appearances.
In the 2025-26 season, Clemons helped coach Miles Rubin to an Atlantic 10 All-Academic nod. Rubin held a 3.513 GPA as a communications studies major. The junior center ended the regular season averaging 10.9 points per game on 59 percent from the field. He also led Loyola with 7.0 rebounds per game and adds 2.2 steals and 2.4 blocks per game. Rubin also broke the all-time block record that stood at 177. He wrapped his career with 237.
In 2024-25, Clemons helped Loyola to a NIT semifinal run as well as a program record 17 home wins after posting a 25-12 overall finish. The Ramblers claimed third in the A-10, earning a double-bye in the conference tournament.
The Ramblers saw two all-conference selections in Jayden Dawson (Second Team) and Miles Rubin (All-Defensive). Rubin set the single-season program record in blocks (85) and field goal percentage (.714), while Sheldon Edwards Jr. shattered the single-season three-pointers made record with 106 made.
In 2023-24, Clemons played a role in turning the program around with the fourth highest win improvement from the 2022-23 season. Loyola increased its win total by 12 wins, going from 10-21 to 22-10 against Division I opponents. With a 15-3 finish in the A-10, Loyola took home a share of the regular season title and earned a double-bye in the A-10 tournament. The Ramblers carried their success to the NIT.
Clemons helped coach Des Watson, Braden Norris, and Miles Rubin to All-Conference honors, while Watson also earned NABC All-District Second Team honors.
Prior to Loyola, Clemons spent the 2022-23 season as a graduate assistant at Tennessee, helping the Volunteers to a No. 4 seed in the 2023 NCAA Tournament and appearance in the Sweet 16.
Immediately prior to joining the Tennessee staff, Clemons played three seasons at Loyola Chicago, helping the program capture three Missouri Valley Conference championships and make two NCAA Tournament appearances—including a run to the Sweet Sixteen in 2021. Clemons capped his Loyola career as the program's all-time leader in three-point field goal percentage (.440).
Clemons began his college basketball career at Vincennes University in Indiana, where he helped the program compile a 68-5 overall record and advance to the 2018 NJCAA Final Four before ultimately capturing the NJCAA national championship—with him serving as team captain—in 2019.
A native of Norcross, Georgia, Clemons attended St. Joseph Central Catholic in Huntington, West Virginia, before spending his senior season at Wesley Christian in Allen, Kentucky.
Clemons earned his degree in Advertising/Public Relations, with cum laude honors, from Loyola Chicago in 2021. He also holds an associate's degree from Vincennes.
