Biography

2022-23: Battled through injury throughout the entire season, appearing in 29 games while making 12 starts for the Ramblers … Finished fourth on the team in scoring, averaging 7.5 points per game … Shot 44.5% (81-of-182) from the field while connecting at a 34.8% (23-of-66) clip from long distance … Scored a career-high 26 points in Loyola’s game against DePaul (Dec. 3), finishing 9-of-15 from the field and setting a new career-high with four 3-pointers … Matched the 3-point effort against Stanford, finishing with 14 points in the game … Recorded his second 20-point performance of the season in the A-10 opener against George Washington, finishing with 23 points on 9-of-16 shooting … Scored 10 or more points in seven games during the season, including three in A-10 competition.

2020-21: Explosive guard had another impressive season as one of the top reserves in the Missouri Valley Conference … Earned MVC All-Bench Team accolades for the second consecutive year … Averaged 7.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.0 steals in 28 appearances, all of which came in a reserve role … Shot 49.0 percent (72-for-147) from the field and 80.6 percent (50-for-62) from the free throw stripe … Loyola was 7-0 when he scored 10 or more points and is now 18-3 in his career when he does so … Scored in double digits on seven occasions and notched a season-high 18 points and nine rebounds, single-handedly leading Loyola to a victory at Bradley (Jan. 25) … Pumped in 16 points and had two rebounds, a pair of assists and two steals in a win at UIC (Dec. 13) … Went for 11 points, six boards and two assists in only 18 minutes in a win against Illinois State (Dec. 28) … Had four steals and five rebounds versus both North Texas (Jan. 2) and Southern Illinois (March 5) … Delivered 10 points and four caroms in a win over Northern Iowa (Jan. 16) … Continued his dominance of Southern Illinois during the regular season, averaging 13.0 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 1.0 apg and 1.0 spg in two games versus the Salukis at Gentile Arena … Exploded for 16 points, five rebounds, two assists, a block and a steal in a victory over Southern Illinois (Feb. 26) and tallied 10 points and four boards one night later versus the Salukis (Feb. 27) … Was unstoppable in Loyola’s victory over top-seeded Illinois in the NCAA Tournament Second Round (March 21), providing 14 points, three caroms, two blocks and a pair of steals in 18 minutes … Member of the MVC Honor Roll.
 
2019-20: Impactful guard had a phenomenal rookie campaign earning Missouri Valley Conference Sixth Man of the Year recognition, while also being named to the MVC All-Bench Team and the MVC All-Freshman Team as he quickly established himself as one of the quickest and most explosive young players in The Valley … Finished the year with averages of 9.2 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.3 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game, connecting on 51.4 percent (110-for-214) of his field goal tries and 38 percent (19-for-50) of his three-point attempts … Scored in double digits on 14 occasions and the Ramblers posted an 11-3 mark in those contests … Loyola was 10-2 when he dished out two or more assists … First Rambler freshman to start a season opener since Milton Doyle in 2013-14 … Put up 11 points, three rebounds, two steals and an assist in his collegiate debut, a victory over UC Davis (Nov. 5) … Went for 16 points, five boards, two steals and a pair of blocks in a win against Saint Joseph’s (Nov. 16) … Followed that effort with a 14-point showing in a victory over IUPUI (Nov. 20) … Registered 11 points, three caroms, three assists and three steals in only 18 minutes of play versus Quincy (Dec. 7) … Produced 11 points in only 15 minutes off the bench in a win against Vanderbilt (Dec. 18) … Hauled in a season-high six rebounds at Valparaiso (Dec. 30) and versus both Bradley (Feb. 1) and Valpo (Feb. 9) at Gentile Arena … Poured in a season-high 20 points, hitting 8 of 9 shots from the field, and added four boards, two rejections and a pair of thefts in a win over Evansville (Jan. 11), then accounted for 17 points and a pair of blocks in a victory against Southern Illinois (Jan. 16) … Victimized Southern Illinois (Jan. 29) in Carbondale, going for 18 points off the bench … Provided a major lift in a thrilling victory over Valpo (Feb. 9) by totaling 15 points, six rebounds and two steals, forcing a key turnover in the closing seconds to seal the outcome … Had 16 points, five boards and three dimes at Missouri State (Feb. 22) … Finished the season by hitting 14 of his final 30 (.467) attempts from three-point land after starting the season just 5-for-20 (.250) … Sank 60 of his final 109 (.550) field goal attempts … Was impressive at Gentle Arena, averaging 11.4 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 1.6 apg and 1.6 spg, shooting at a 55.3 percent clip (68-for-123) from the field, including 48.4 percent (15-for-31) accuracy from long distance.
 
 
High School: One of the top players in the state as a senior when he averaged 25 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4 assists per game, while pitching in 57 steals and 41 blocked shots in helping lead Brother Rice High School to a 22-win season … Listed among the City/Suburban Hoops Report’s top five prospects in the Class of 2019 in Illinois … Was a Second Team All-USA Illinois Basketball Team selection in 2018-19 … Finished tied for fifth in the 2019 Mr. Basketball of Illinois voting … During his junior campaign, put up 17.2 ppg, 3.6 rpg and 3.5 apg and was ranked as high as the No. 6 senior prospect in the state and No. 175 nationally … Made a living at the free throw line as a junior, converting 81 percent of his attempts from the charity stripe … Played his first two seasons at Crete-Monee High School before transferring to Brother Rice … Loyola’s first Chicago Catholic League signee since 2010.
