ROMEOVILLE, Ill. -- No. 10 Loyola Chicago took care of business in four sets (29-27, 25-23, 16-25, 25-22, 25-22) to defeat No. 16 Lewis on Thursday, March 26 at Neil Carey Arena. The Ramblers improved to record to 15-6 overall and 9-3 in Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA) action.
Junior outside Daniel Fabikovic paced Loyola's offense with 11 kills on .450 hitting and redshirt sophomore outside Tyler Howard added 10 kills and a career-high four blocks. Defensively, junior middle Aidan Klein had the match-high six blocks.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Ramblers endured a back-and-forth first set to win 29-27 in a stanza that featured eight lead changes and 13 tied scores.
SET 2 | Loyola took set two 25-23 to grab a 2-0 lead. The Ramblers hit a .500 in the frame with 15 kills, led by graduate student Josh Schellinger. After the lead changed hands three times, Loyola took control for good late in the set at 22-21. The Ramblers' front row blocked four Flyers' attacks on the way to victory.
SET 3 | Lewis staved off a sweep, taking the third set in a decisive 25-16 win. The Flyers held the Ramblers to just .048 hitting in the stanza.
SET 4 | The Ramblers responded with a 25-22 fourth-set win to clinch the match, scoring the first point and never trailing in the frame. Rookie Oskar Berg Mikkelsen exploded with the final kill of the night to secure the road win for Loyola.
