Trio Brings Home CSC Academic All-District Honors

Reisinger named A-10 All-Academic

CHICAGO – Three women's golf student-athletes were named College Sports Communicator's Academic All-District honorees. Jolie Brochu, Cate Reisinger, and Cassie Psuik excelled on the course and in the classroom for the honor.
 
Reisinger was also tabbed to the A-10 All-Academic squad.
 
To be eligible of CSC honors, athletes must hold a 3.5 GPA in the classroom, hold at least sophomore academic standing, and participate in 70 percent of the team's competition or participate in the conference championship.
 
Brochu wrapped up her last semester with a 3.89 GPA to complete her degree in political science. She averaged 79.3 strokes on the course this season, playing in 28 rounds of action. Brochu placed seventh at the A-Ga Ming Invitational and 14th at the Texas State Invitational for notable performances this season.
 
Reisinger posted a 3.56 GPA as a marketing major in her final semester for the Ramblers. She was named the first ever A-10 Golfer of the Year and earned All-Conference honors this season. Reisinger averaged 77.8 on the course and had six top-10 finishes, including second place at the A-10 Championship.
 
Psuik wraps up the honors after finishing with a 3.53 GPA as an accounting major. She was tabbed All-Conference with a scoring average of 77.9. Psuik had four top-10 finishes and placed 13th overall at the inaugural A-10 Championship where she finished +26.
