Ramblers Take On St. Bonaventure Tuesday

CHICAGO - Loyola Chicago is riding its seven-game win streak into a road match at St. Bonaventure Tuesday night. The Ramblers downed George Mason by 21 in their lone game last weekend and look to win their eighth straight against the Bonnies who have won three of their last four. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. CT.

Tuesday's game can be streamed on ESPN+ or be listened to on the Rambler Sports Network with Scott Sudikoff (PXP) and Christian Thomas (Analyst).

• The Ramblers are on an seven-game win streak and continue to sit at the top of the Atlantic 10 standings, earning a vote in this week's AP Top-25 Poll. Loyola will look to end February action at 7-0.
• Loyola took care of George Mason in Gentile Arena last weekend, 80-59. The 21-point victory was Loyola's largest margin of victory against a conference foe since joining the league.

• Norris is also nearing two other career milestones. Currently, the guard has started all 121 games available for the Ramblers. Two more starts makes him the program's all-time career leader. Norris also has 244 career made three-pointers, sitting second all-time. The record is 262.
• Over the seven-game win streak, four Ramblers are averaging at least 10 points per game. Watson is leading the team with 13.4 ppg, while Alston sits at 11.9. Both Edwards and Adelekun add 11.3 ppg.
• Loyola is also holding its opponents to 28.3 percent from three-point range during the stretch. The Ramblers are shooting 47.2 percent from the field compared to 39.0 percent by the last seven opponents.
• Head coach Drew Valentine is in his third season at the helm. He holds a 55-36 overall career record.

Scouting St. Bonaventure
St. Bonaventure is 17-10 overall and 8-7 in A-10 action heading into Tuesday's meeting. The Bonnies have won three of their last four games. They picked up an 85-67 road win at Fordham and an 81-80 OT victory over Davidson. The lone loss came against La Salle, 72-59, before SBU rallied 75-67 at UMass. The Bonnies average 73.9 points per game and have scored at least 75 in their last three wins.

Chad Venning is the team's leading scorer, averaging 14.3 points per game. He's shooting over 53 percent from the field. He also has a team-leading 49 blocks. Venning has scored double-figures in all but one A-10 game this season and is on a nine-game streak. He recorded a 16-point, 10 rebound double-double at UMass last weekend.

Mark Schmidt is in his 17th season leading St. Bonaventure. He holds a 299-223 overall record with the Bonnies.

Series History
Loyola Chicago leads the all-time series 3-2. Last year, Tom Welch led the offense with 16 points. He was one of four Ramblers off the bench in double-figures.
