CHICAGO - Loyola Chicago and South Florida tip-off inside Gentile Arena Saturday morning at 11:30 a.m. CT. The Ramblers look to improve to 8-0 as they are just one of nine remaining undefeated teams in the country.

RAMBLINGS
• Loyola received four votes in the AP Top-25 Poll released earlier this week. The Ramblers are one of nine undefeated teams left in the country after their win against Eastern Michigan earlier this week.
• The last time the Ramblers opened the year 7-0 was in 2017-18 when the team won seven straight to start the season. Loyola has also won its last 13 games at Gentile Arena, dating back to Jan. 17 last season vs. Massachusetts.
• Loyola downed EMU 76-54 Tuesday night.
Des Watson dropped the second 20-point performance this season, matching his career-high 24 points.

Miles Rubin notched his second double-double of the year with 10 points and 10 boards.

Justin Moore and
Francis Nwaokorie added 11 points each. Moore also dished out a career-high eight assists, while Nwaokorie went 4-for-4 with three from the arc.
• The Ramblers assisted on 21 of their 29 field goals made against the Eagles. It marked the fourth game this year Loyola surpassed 20 assists. Per Ken Pom, Loyola is second in the country, assisting on 69.4 percent of their field goals made.
• The Ramblers rank in the A-10's top three teams in scoring, scoring defense, scoring margin, field goal percentage, three-point percentage, opponent three-point percentage, rebounding, offensive rebounding, assist to turnover ratio, assists, and blocks.

Justin Moore leads Loyola with 6.3 assists per game, ranking second in the conference and 14th in the NCAA. Moore also ranked 24th nationally in assist to turnover ratio (3.67).

Drew Valentine is in his fourth season at the helm. He has compiled a 65-39 overall record as head coach.
SCOUTING SOUTH FLORIDA
The Bulls are 5-3 overall heading into Saturday. They won their last two games against Wright State and Stetson but have yet to win on the road. USF dropped its only true road game so far this season to College of Charleston. The Bulls also have losses to No. 21 Florida and Middle Tennessee. USF makes an impact on the fast break, averaging 16.0 fast break points per game which ranks 29th in the country.
Four Bulls are scoring at least 10 points per game. USF is led by Jayden Reid who scores 12.4 ppg on 44.6 percent from the field and 38.2 percent from three. Reid is on a three-game double-figure scoring streak with a season-high 23 dropped in the last game vs. Stetson. He drained four threes and had eight assists.
Ben Fletcher is in his first season leading the Bulls with a 5-3 record.
