CHICAGO (December 16, 2022) – Loyola University Chicago (5-5) returns home to the comforts of Gentile Arena on Sunday afternoon when the Ramblers play host to UAlbany. Loyola/UAlbany – The Series
Sunday will mark just the second meeting in program history between the Ramblers and Great Danes. The lone other meeting between the two programs came almost 12 years ago to the day on December 22, 2009 when Loyola defeated UAlbany at home, 68-56. Ben Averkamp scored 17 points and was one of three Ramblers in double figures as Geoff McCammon and Terrance Hill scored 16 and 13 points, respectively.

The Ramblers picked up their fifth consecutive victory on the season with the decision, as the team shot 50% from the field to improve to 5-0 in home games to open the 2009-10 campaign.
