How It Happened
Loyola extended its three-point lead at halftime to as much as 14 in the fourth quarter, thanks to a 10-0 scoring run. Tanin recorded six points in the fourth quarter, including a layup to give Loyola a 65-51 lead with under seven minutes left. The Pride chipped away to get within five with Loyola leading 67-62 near the two-minute mark, but the Ramblers closed out the game at the free-throw line.
