- Loyola advances to the title match for just the second time in school history. The Ramblers only previous appearance was when they hosted the tournament in 2003. That season, they knocked off Detroit, 1-0, to win the tourmament title.
- Today's win serves as a measure of revenge for Loyola, as Butler held the Ramblers to a 2-2 draw in their regular season meeting on Sept. 29 in Indianapolis, Ind. The win is just Loyola's fourth in 17 all-time meetings with Butler (4-12-1).
- With its three today, Loyola's high-powered offense has now scored 40 goals this season, the highet single-season total in school history, betting the previous mark of 39 scores set in 1997.
- Senior Mary Dale hit the back of the net for the eighth time this season and now has six goals in her last six matches.
- Dale's 26 career goals puts her just one away from Melissa Eckerle's (1995-98) school-record of 27 markers.
- Freshman Ashley Morawski tallied her second career goal in the win and her first since hitting the net on Oct. 6 at Cleveland State.
- Loyola has scored three goals in both of its Horizon League Championship matches and has only been shutout once (vs. UW-Milwaukee, Oct. 13) in its last 16 matches.
