Tomislav Colic is preparing to begin his fourth season as a volunteer assistant coach for the Loyola University Chicago women's soccer team.

"It's a big step forward for our program to add a someone with a resumé like Tomi's to our staff," Loyola head women's soccer coach Barry Bimbi commented. "His experiences on both a national and international stage can only benefit our current student-athletes."

Colic arrived in Rogers Park with a vast amount of playing and coaching experience already under his belt. Colic began his two-year professional career by spending 2011 with the LA Blues Soccer Club of the United States Soccer League Professional Division. He would score twice in 16 appearances for the Blues before joining the Anaheim Bolts of the Professional Arena Soccer League near the end of 2011. Colic made 13 appearances with the Bolts, recording a staggering 16 goals and nine assists.

Along with his duties with the Ramblers, Colic also serves as a member of the Chicago Fire Juniors North staff, primarily serving as the head coach for the U-10 and U-11 Boys and Girls sides. He also holds prior coaching experience with the Chicago Blast Soccer Club in Lemont, Ill. and as the assistant head coach for the men's varsity team at St. Margaret's Episcopal School in Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.
