BRONX, N.Y. – Loyola Chicago women's soccer scored on three of its four shots Sunday afternoon to win at Fordham in the Atlantic 10 opener, 3-0.
Allison Deardorff's 24
th career shutout in goal ties the program's record set in 2014 by Monica Gonyo.
With the win, Loyola improves to 4-2-3 overall and 1-0-0 in league play.

Jon Sandoval. "It's important to stay focused on the moment on front of us. We have to take it one game at a time, continue to improve, and stay focused on the next challenge."
How It Happened
The Ramblers needed only seven minutes to find the back of the net on the first shot of the match.
Addison Schaffer scored unassisted at the 6:57 mark for the game winning goal. Loyola's next attempt was by
Zoe Hevey who also found the back of the net. She scored on an assist from Schaffer in the 32
nd minute to put the Ramblers up 2-0.
Lydia Case made the Ramblers 3-for-3 in the 40
th minute as she netted a goal on Loyola's next shot set up by
Emily Rossi. Case also tallied Loyola's last shot of the match in the 43
rd minute. Loyola led 3-0 at the break.
The Rams put on the pressure in the final 45 minutes, taking 10 shots in the second half and forcing six saves by Deardorff. She faced six shots in a three-minute stretch and made four saves in the flurry, but the Rams came up scoreless. Loyola held on to win, 3-0.
