RALEIGH, N.C. -- Junior infielder Nat Lesnicki went 1-for-3 with a double for Loyola Chicago in an 8-1 loss at NC State on Sunday, March 1.
Junior Brooke Steinhorst (1-4) got the ball to start for the Ramblers and took the loss. The right-hander went four innings, giving up four runs, one earned, on four hits, allowing one walk and striking out one.
How It Happened
The Ramblers put runs on the scoreboard first, starting the scoring in the second inning. Sophomore Averi Vander Woude came across to score Loyola's lone run of the game. The Ramblers were unable to hold the lead, as the Wolfpack scored eight times over the remaining five innings to grab the win.
