CHICAGO – Kyle Knutson and Aidan Collins of the Loyola University Chicago men's track team competed DePaul's Blue Demon Holiday Classic Friday night at the Dr. Conrad Worrill Track and Field Center at Gately Park on the Southside.

The duo competed in the men's 3K, with Collins finishing eighth and Knutson close behind in ninth. Collins clocked a personal best in the indoor 3k, running an 8:56.62 to finish six seconds faster than his previous best. Knutson finished with a time 9:05.75.

Loyola Chicago is next in action Jan. 17-18 at the Hawkeye Invitational.
