Loyola Chicago wraps up its East Coast road trip at Richmond on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 1 p.m. CT. The Ramblers are still searching for their first road win this season.
QUICK KICKS
- The Ramblers took 17 shots in the second half against VCU on Sept. 4 – their highest shot count in 45 minutes all season.
- Zoe Hevey hit a season high seven shots against the Rams to match her career high while Jocelyn Leigh marked a career high four shots.
- Allison Deardorff was named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week on Sept. 30 in her third weekly conference award this season.
- In the league, Deardorff ranks second in goals against average (.750) and third in shutouts per game (six), saves (56) and saves per game (4.67). Overall, the Ramblers are second in the A-10 in goals allowed (9), behind SLU (7).
- Defender Alaina Abel is on an active 2,700-minute streak playing the full 90 in the last 30 consecutive matches.
SCOUTING RICHMOND
Richmond is 3-6-2 overall and 1-3 in A-10 play, ranking No. 13 in conference standings. All three of the Rams' wins have been shutouts, including a 1-0 victory in their A-10 opener against Duquesne on Sept. 19.
SPIDERS TO WATCH
- Spiders' offensive stat leader Kelly Hutton, a graduate student who previously played at Loyola Maryland, has two goals so far this season, one assist, 14 shots and six shots on goal. Hutton scored in back-to-back matches, against American and then at Radford.
- Goalkeeper McKenna Dalfonso, another Richmond graduate student, has made 45 saves through 10 matches and a goals against average of 1.2. Dalfonso's record between the posts is 3-5-2. The Spiders' three victories this season have all been shutouts.
- Senior defender Elle Dziadzio leads the field players in minutes (880) and has started all ten matches so far this season. She's one of six consistent starters for the Spiders. Dziadzio's defensive efforts assisted Richmond in three shutouts, including one against league opponent Duquesne.

Loyola leads the series with Richmond, 2-0. The teams first met in 2022 when the Ramblers shut out the Spiders 1-0 and one season later the result repeated itself for another Ramblers' win.
