Women’s Soccer Celebrates Senior Day vs. St. Bonaventure

LEADING OFF 
In their first meeting ever, Loyola University Chicago (8-4-5, 3-2-4 A-10) hosts St. Bonaventure for senior day on Sunday, Oct. 27 at 12:30 p.m. CT in both teams' final regular season Atlantic 10 match. 

QUICK KICKS  
  • The Ramblers had 13 shots at Rhode Island in their penulimate regular season match. Zoe Hevey led the team with three shots, two on-target. 
  • Allison Deardorff is second in the league in goals against average (.706) and in shutouts per game (.529). She ranks third in saves (67) and sixth in saves per game (3.94). 
  • Defender Alaina Abel is on an active 3,060-minute streak playing the full 90 in the last 34 consecutive matches.  
  • The Ramblers' current home record, 7-1-1, is their best since going 6-0-2 in 2021.  
SCOUTING THE ST. BONAVENTURE BONNIES 
St. Bonaventure is 2-12-3 overall and 1-6-2 in A-10 play heading into its final match of the regular season. The Bonnies sole conference win is over Rhode Island, 2-1. They rank last in the league in the conference standings with five points in A-10 play. 

BONNIES TO WATCH 
  • Freshman defender Evie Underhill leads the team in points with five and two goals and one assist. The rookie scored her first career goal against Big 12 opponent Baylor in the Bonnies' second match this season. Underhill has started in 14 of 15 matches, accumulating 1,085 minutes on the pitch.  
  • Veteran goalkeeper Chiara Gottinger has recorded 56 saves, one combined shutout and a 1-7-2 overall record. The senior made a season-high 23 saves against Rhode Island to help the Bonnies secure their first A-10 victory. She ranks third in the A-10 in saves per game (5.09) and seventh in saves (56). 
  • Another rookie, Torrie Grant-Clavijo, is making a name for herself in the midfield. The freshman is the team-leader in shots (18) and shots on goal (13). She is second on the team in points (4) with one goal and two assists. Grant-Clavijo has started 12 of 15 matches this season. 
SERIES HISTORY 
This marks the first ever meeting between Loyola Chicago and St. Bonaventure.
