CHICAGO – Loyola Chicago women's soccer heads to Massachusetts after having a bye-week last Thursday. The Ramblers are fresh off their first Atlantic 10 win of the season after beating George Washington 4-0. UMass is 2-0-1 over its last three matches, including a 1-1 draw earlier this week at Duquesne. Kickoff in Amherst is set for 12 p.m. CT Sunday.
QUICK KICKS
• Last week, Loyola secured its first conference win of the year with George Washington. The Ramblers only needed the first 3:30 to earn the shutout.

Skyler Bierker netted the game-winner at the 3:22 mark for her first career goal.

Taylor Harrison and
Zoe Hevey each scored in the match. Harrison netted a pair for a new season-high, while Hevey scored once and assisted once.
• Harrison's two goals vs. GW brought her career total up to 13. She now holds the 10
th spot on the program's career list.
• All 12 points of Harrison's season total are off goals. She is tied as the league leader with six goals and is tied third with 12 points.
• The shutout vs. GW marks Loyola's fifth of the year. It is also
Naya Lipkens's fifth shutout between the posts. Lipkens is tied first in the A10 with four other keepers in shutouts.
• Hevey is making a strong case for Freshman of the Year ranking in the A10 leaderboards in shots, shots on goal, and assists. She is second on the Loyola squad with 10 points (3g/4a).

Barry Bimbi is in his 13
th year at the helm. He notched his 100
th career win last season and sits at 111-95-31 overall.
SCOUTING UMASS
The Minutewomen are 2-0-1 over their last three games. Against Duquesne earlier this week, the teams played to a 1-1 draw. The two matches prior, UMass recorded shutouts vs. Davidson (5-0) and VCU (1-0). UMass is currently undefeated on its home turf holding a 4-0 record in Amherst. Overall, UMass sits at 6-3-3 with a 3-1-1 showing in A10 play.
MINUTEWOMEN TO WATCH
• Bella Recinos leads UMass with 11 points off four goals and three assists. She scored the tying goal against the Dukes earlier this week and also has a three-point performance against GW under her belt. Recinos scored her first goal of the year at UMass Lowell and added another vs. Bryant.
• Ashley Lamond adds 10 points on four goals and two assists. Lamond's first goal of the year came in the opener. She then scored in back-to-back matches vs. Yale and Syracuse. Against Syracuse, she finished with three points adding a helper. Her lone conference goal was against GW.
• In goal, Bella Mendoza has started 10 of the 12 matches this season. She's allowed just eight goals making 47 saves. Mendoza has five shutouts with a .72 goals against average. She made a season-high seven saves in the 1-0 shutout vs. VCU.
SERIES HISTORY
Loyola leads the all-time series 1-0-0 after last year's win. The Ramblers downed the Minutewomen, 2-1.
