Women' Soccer Road Trip Continues at Davidson

Kickoff is Sunday at 12 p.m. CT

CHICAGO - The Ramblers continue on the road with another match this Sunday. Loyola Chicago and Davidson kickoff at 12 p.m. CT in North Carolina. Both squads are looking to rebound from conference losses last weekend. The Ramblers have one league win coming from a 4-0 shutout over George Washington, while the Wildcats have yet to earn an A10 win this season.

QUICK KICKS
• With the first half of Atlantic 10 action in the books, the Ramblers have five points in the standings to rank just outside the top-eight in 11th. Saint Louis and UMass are tied in first with 13 points. Three points is all that separates the Ramblers from the top-eight.
• The Ramblers are coming off a 4-1 loss at Massachusetts last weekend. Olivia Knab scored her first goal of the 2023 campaign to help Loyola avoid the shutout.
• Loyola won its first conference match of the year 4-0 against George Washington back on Sept. 24. Skyler Bierker scored her first career goal and game-winner just 3:22 into the action.
Taylor Harrison netted two goals for a season-high, while Zoe Hevey tallied one goal and one assist. Harrison (12) and Hevey (10) are first and second in points on Loyola, respectively.
• The Harrison-Hevey connection has happened three times this season. Hevey tallied her first helper to Harrison vs. Ball State. The duo did it again for the game-winner at DePaul before their most recent connection against George Washington.
• Harrison's goals against George Washington brought her up to 13 career goals, which ties her ninth all-time in the program. She surpassed teammate Amanda Cassidy and three former Ramblers who were tied with 12 career goals in 10th place..
• All of Harrison's points this season are from goals. She currently leads the A10 and ranks 83rd in the country with six goals. The junior forward has put away two game-winners, which also leads the league.
• Hevey and Jaimee Cibulka have four assists each to lead Loyola. They're tied sixth in the A10 and rank 127th in the NCAA. Hevey also sits at 68th in the country in shot accuracy (.559)
• In goal, Naya Lipkens has logged nearly every minute between the posts for the Ramblers. She's fourth in the A10 and 49th in the country in goalie minutes played (1,163:58). With the win vs. George Washington, Lipkens picked up her fifth shutout of the season, which is second in the A10 and 47th in the country.
Barry Bimbi enters his 13th season as head coach of the Ramblers. Bimbi notched his 100th career win last year and sits at 111-96-31 overall.

SCOUTING DAVIDSON
The Wildcats sit at 3-9-1 overall and are still searching for their first league win. In Atlantic 10 play, the Wildcats are 0-5-1. The lone point in the standings comes from a 1-1 draw with Duquesne in the A10 opener. Davidson is currently on a five-match losing streak with losses to St. Bonaventure, Dayton, UMass, Rhode Island, and Fordham dating back to Sept. 17. The Wildcats are 1-4-1 on their home turf.

WILDCATS TO WATCH
• Aleia Gisolfi-McCready leads the Wildcats with five points this year. She's netted a pair of goals and tallied one assist. Both goals came in non-conference action and her assist came against Presbyterian in a 3-0 shutout win.
• Savannah Pruitt also adds two goals for Davidson scoring in back-to-back matches. She recorded one of the team's three goals against Presbyterian. She then netted the equalizer vs. Duquesne to force the draw.
