CHICAGO (September 21, 2018) – Following the completion of its non-conference schedule, the Loyola University Chicago women's soccer team will open up Missouri Valley Conference play on the road this Sunday when it takes on UNI. Kickoff from the Cedar Valley Soccer Complex in Waterloo, Iowa is set for 1 p.m.

vs. UNI: UNI, which was picked third in the MVC Women's Soccer Preseason Poll, brings a record of 4-3-2 into Sunday's matchup against Loyola. The Panthers finished non-conference play with back-to-back victories over Northern Illinois, 3-1, and Iowa State, 1-0, respectively. Jordyn Rolli found the back of the net in the victory over the Cyclones, UNI's first in program history over its in-state rival. Rolli leads a balanced Panther attack with two goals on the year. Six other members of the UNI roster have each recorded a goal on the year as well. Preseason All-MVC selection Jami Reichenberger has started in all nine games in goal for head coach Bruce Erickson's side and holds a 0.73 goals against average that leads all Valley netminders.
Series Stuff: Loyola and UNI will meet for the 11th time on Sunday afternoon in Waterloo. The Ramblers hold a 6-3-1 edge in the all-time series. Loyola has had the upper hand in the series of late, prevailing in three of the last four matchups between the two teams.
